A new take on an old classic, this wintery cocktail wards off the Willamette Valley chill and will warm you to the core.

2/3 cup 4 Spirits Dark Rum
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups water

Bring water, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 4 Spirits Dark Rum. Serve hot.
